Take your kayak down the river from Devon to Edmonton
What better way to spend a summer day in Edmonton, having fun outdoors on the water!? We supply the boat and your transportation to the river.
Every Saturday from middle of May to end of September you can spend the day on the water paddling your kayak down the North Saskatchewan River. Summer outdoor fun for the whole family!
Paddle five to six hours from Devon to Edmonton. Shuttles depart from Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park in Edmonton at 9:00 am. Drive downhill towards the zoo parking lot, take a right on the traffic circle and keep going onto the one-way street through the park. Follow the road until you reach the boat&trailer parking lot on your left and park either before or behind that area. Meet us on the park lawn.
The bus ride to Devon is about 45 minutes. Here your 1-person-kayak is waiting and you begin your journey down the river at your own leisure. Expect to be back at your vehicle in Laurier Park between 3 and 5 pm.
Our kayaks are all solo kayaks – one person only per boat.
